The Geo. Kirkland Gro. is still actively serving the residents of New Holland, South Carolina with a variety of dry goods.

New Holland once featured three general stores but others have closed.

The classic coke button sign, hand-painted sign, and general old feel of the location make it a favorite of mine.

I use to drive by the store several days a week on my way home from work and would try to stop in at least weekly to say hi to the owner and enjoy a Coke from the cooler.
